Christian Johnson

Christian Johnson

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Sarasota, FL | Alpharetta, GA | Cape Town, ZA

Christian is the Founder and CEO of Cape Point Capital Partners, an operator-led private investment firm that acquires, builds, and operates lower middle-market companies across industrial services, ecommerce, healthcare, home services, defense & security, and transportation & logistics. He also founded Kleeq, an ecommerce operating company and brand incubator that serves as the operational backbone for the firm's portfolio, providing marketing, creative, technology, fulfillment, and back-office services to portfolio companies and PE-backed brands.

Christian built and bootstrapped his first ecommerce portfolio company from the ground up, without acquisitions, scaling it to over $45M in peak revenue by 2022. He vertically integrated into manufacturing and 3PL operations and grew Kleeq into a 50-person team spanning 7 countries with a full shared services platform covering media buying, web and app development, content production, and financial operations. After exiting the technology and brand assets in late 2022, he began deploying his own capital into a new portfolio through Cape Point in 2023. Since then, Cape Point has acquired over a dozen companies with a combined total enterprise value in the eight figures. In 2025, the firm completed two new acquisitions and two successful exits.

He travels extensively across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia to secure relationships with investors, family offices, and operating partners, sourcing proprietary deal flow and building a global network that underpins the firm's origination advantage.

Christian splits his time between Sarasota, FL, Alpharetta, GA, and Cape Town, South Africa. He has completed marathons in six countries, is a student pilot, and an avid car enthusiast. Christian and his wife, who leads the firm's property management and short-term real estate venture, are committed to giving back directly to causes they are close with around the world, including foster children in South Africa, animal rescues in Puerto Rico, and business and financial mentorship for underprivileged teens in the U.S. They are proud supporters of the Lovin Every Day Foundation, which honors Christian's late brother-in-law by providing AEDs to children with heart conditions.

Evan Brooks

Evan Brooks

Acquisitions Associate

Alpharetta, GA

Evan runs deal origination at Cape Point. He sits in front of a five-person deal desk, and every inbound opportunity crosses him first: brokered listings, marketplace deals, and owners who reach out directly. He reads the CIM, kills what does not fit, and assigns what does.

The desk is lean on purpose. One seat handles company research and target identification. One checks portfolio fit and whether Cape Point can actually improve the business. One underwrites financing, leverage, and debt service coverage. One builds the investment committee deck. A financial analyst supports the numbers.

Evan manages that workflow. He decides what gets researched, what gets a full pack, and what dies the same day. Most of what he reviews is a family-owned business without a next owner, exactly the companies Cape Point exists to buy.
