Our Story
Built by Operators, Not Financiers
We didn't start with a fund deck. We started with a product, a warehouse, and a vision to build something real.
The Beginning
From Zero to $45M
Christian Johnson didn't inherit a portfolio or raise a fund. He bootstrapped his first ecommerce company from the ground up — no acquisitions, no outside capital. Just a product, a laptop, and relentless execution. Within four years, that single brand grew into a vertically integrated operation spanning manufacturing, 3PL logistics, and direct-to-consumer sales.
By 2022, the portfolio company had reached over $45M in peak revenue. Christian built Kleeq as the operating engine behind it all, a full-service company that handled everything from media buying and creative production to finance, logistics, customer support, and technology. It grew to a 50-person team operating across 7 countries and today serves as the in-house growth engine behind every Cape Point acquisition.
After exiting the technology and brand assets in late 2022, Christian began deploying his own capital through Cape Point Capital Partners in 2023. Since then: 30+ acquisitions across six core verticals and a growing reputation as operators who protect founder legacies while scaling aggressively.

Our Convictions
What We Believe
Operators, not spreadsheets
We've managed P&Ls, hired teams, and made payroll. We don't just model businesses, we've built them.
Founders deserve better
Most founders get one shot at an exit. We protect their legacy because we've been in their shoes.
Institutional rigor, entrepreneurial speed
We move fast, make hard decisions early, and deploy resources from day one.
Long-term conviction
We don't flip assets. We buy businesses we want to own and operate for the long term.
