Cape Point Capital Partners Acquires Majority Interest in Fast-Growing Automotive Brand Urban Exotics
Cape Point is partnering with founder Zach Scalice to bring a full operating platform behind one of the most loyal communities in automotive culture.

Cape Point Capital Partners, the operator-led private investment firm that acquires and operates founder-led businesses, today announced that it has acquired a majority interest in Urban Exotics, one of the most recognizable new names in automotive culture. Cape Point completed the transaction without outside investors or acquisition debt. Founder Zach Scalice retains a significant ownership stake and continues to lead the brand.
Founded in 2025, Urban Exotics grew out of a simple idea: car culture is a community, and the brand should feel like part of it. Zach built it from the ground up, with apparel car people actually want to wear, content they share, and exotic car giveaways that have put vehicles including a Dodge Viper and a Mercedes-AMG GT in the hands of its winners. The giveaways are run by an independent sweepstakes administrator.
That community has grown fast, and it keeps coming back. Cape Point's investment adds what a brand at this stage needs next: an operating platform built to scale it.
Under the new ownership structure, Cape Point's in-house operating team will support Urban Exotics across ecommerce operations, finance, customer experience, and technology, and a dedicated in-house media team will lead paid acquisition. Near-term priorities include expanding the apparel line, launching a membership program for the brand's most loyal fans, and increasing the cadence of community events and drops. The brand, its community, and its founder remain at the center of the business.
The transaction extends Cape Point's ecommerce vertical, where the firm's growth engine has powered more than $250 million in online sales since 2020. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“Most brands spend years trying to build what Urban Exotics already has: a community that shows up for it. Zach built that from scratch. We're putting a full operating team behind it so the brand can grow as fast as its audience.”
